I wish the ELCA had a leader like Bryant Wright, the Southern Baptist Convention President. The LGBT activists are demanding an apology from the denomination because they hold to what God's tells us in scripture. Here is an article about it - Gay leaders meet with SBC president.
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. - 2 Timothy 4:3-4
Seems we are living in the "time." Pray that we, all Christians, will not side with Satan and turn from what God says. Ask God Almighty to give you strength and boldness to be His witness and proclaim His Truth, in the midst of anger and opposition.
